Current Studies

“Your Word is Truth” is the theme for this year.  In this increasingly postmodern world, “truth” has been redefined to meet the desires of the prevailing culture. Standing firm against the tide is God’s objective, universal, absolute, and unchanging Truth. Study shows how to use the Bible as the authoritative lens to see and understand the truth about marriage, the environment, friends, education, books and movies, sports, money, suffering, war, and everything else. Our hope is that not only will our youth know the truth, but that they will be lovers and proclaimers of the truth, standing firm against the lies of this present age. Sunday Mornings - The junior and senior high youth ministry will combine for teaching. Pastor Timothy will be the main teacher, and we will also highlight small group discussions during our time together. The year-long series will relate God's Truth to things such as the environment, friends, education, music, and movies.

Wednesday Nights -

Junior High

Girls - The Girls are going through "A Young Woman After God's Own Heart." This study will integrate book-reading and also hands-on activities. 

Guys - The guys are going through a series of talks given by Louie Giglio.  Themes such as God's greatness, humanity's "smallness," and God's grace in suffering are going to be covered.

Senior High

The Senior High students will be going through the Vintage Jesus video series led by Pastor Mark Driscoll. This series will discuss who Jesus is and why he matters today. In January, we will move into another video series by Francis Chan.
