Meet Pastor Trent

Trent joined the staff at Calvary in 1996 and soon after began leading worship. Prior to his ministry at Calvary, Trent served on the staff at Life Action Ministries and Central Baptist Church in Jonesboro, Arkansas. Helping people declare truth about Christ and the Gospel in worship is the passion of Trent’s life.

Trent earned Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in music education from Arkansas State University graduating Cum Laude.

Trent and his wife Margie were married in 1992 and have three children: Caleb (1996), Andrew (1998), and Josiah (2001). Whether singing opera or jamming on his guitar, music has always been a significant part of Trent’s life. Outside of his family and Calvary, Trent is involved in the Holland Chorale and enjoys golf and reading. He and Margie enjoy serving together in the church. Margie is also active in education and is passionate about caring for those with special needs. Trent’s favorite Bible verse is found in Zephaniah 3:17: The Lord your God is in your midst, a mighty one who will save; he will rejoice over you with gladness; he will quiet you by his love; he will exult over you with loud singing.
