Living Without Care

I live in a Christian house with a Christian family. Before I knew Christ, I pretty much was living life without a care, and as long as I got what I wanted, when I wanted it, I was okay.

I was about six or seven when I got saved. It was the last day of Vacation Bible Time, and I felt like I was missing something inside. Earlier that day, I had talked to my mom about it. She said that I had that feeling because I was missing Christ. Later that day, when Pastor Paul was giving a challenge, he asked those who didn’t know God to accept Christ into their lives. I felt like that was directed towards me. So right then, I decided to accept Christ into my life. After that the feeling like a part of me was missing just disappeared. Since then, I would have to say I’ve been a better person to be around because God made me realize that life wasn’t about me.
