Accountability with the Body of Christ

I was saved at the age of five. I remember standing in the living room of our home when I asked my mom how to get saved. After she explained the plan of salvation, I prayed and asked Jesus into my heart.

Even though I believe I was saved at that time, I didn’t take my walk with Christ very seriously. I would only read my Bible on Sundays, for family devotions, or when I had a homework assignment that required it.

Within the last six months, God has helped me to overcome sins in my life and has drawn me closer to Him. He has shown me that life is all about Him and not about me. Now I look forward to spending time in God’s word and prayer.

I want to be held accountable to the body of Christ and please God with my life
